The purpose of this event is to raise sufficient funds to support educational programs for women in Bali. Bali WISE has an educational goal that aims to increase awareness and empower women in Bali.

Bali WISE is an educational skills center focused on the Bali hospitality industry, and is managed by the R.O.L.E. Foundation team. High-quality skills education and training meet the high quality standards of professional tourism businesses. The goal is to empower marginalized young Indonesian women through vocational education as a means to break the cycle of poverty and develop sustainable communities in Indonesia.
The canoe race program has been running since 2022 (ROW for R.O.L.E. 1.0), 2023 (ROW for R.O.L.E. 2.0) and 2024 (ROW for R.O.L.E. 3.0) has educated more than 1858 women. 89% of the women (from all over Indonesia) who have participated in this program are now working in the hospitality and marketing sectors around the world. Support the R.O.L.E. Foundation by participating in the canoe race to empower young women through vocational training and decent job placement.
“We hope that this event can raise enough funds to support educational programs for women in Bali,” said DJ Denton, Chair of the Event Committee.
